Sunday School Becomes Life School

The 2005-06 Sunday School season “kick-off” is an exciting time at Pentecostal Temple . Pastor Brown has cast a broad vision for our Sunday School ministry this year by making it interactive and more relevant to students of every age and life experience.  “I believe Sunday School is a great ministry tool that has been underutilized in our ministry for the past eight years. I want to make Sunday School a “life school” for our students, parents, visitors and community.

This year registration begins for the students to qualify for the Education Initiative the Pastor announced on the fourth Sunday in August. Pastor Brown envisions having the largest Sunday School in New York Western Second COGIC.

Sunday School Classes are mirrored after the secular school grades. Elementary, Middle School and High School students will have relevant-up to date teaching on biblical principles and life skills in the new Sunday School Program.  There will be classes for College Students, Single Parents, Married Couples, Music Ministry, Seniors and Ministry Workers to ensure everyone has a place to grow and learn as we apply biblical truths to real life circumstances. “Sunday School in this church will be life school,” the pastor said.
